PASSPORTS
Passports are required for all international travel. Passports must have a minimum of six month's validity from the date of scheduled return to Australia. The name on your airline tickets must exactly match the name and spelling as it appears in your passport. We will need to sight your passport or have a photocopy of it before any documents can be released and we will not be liable for any incorrect information given to us nor for any fees imposed by the airline or tour operator should documentation need to be reissued. If travelling on any passport other than Australian, you must inform us immediately as it may be necessary to obtain a re-entry visa into Australia. Whilst we offer full assistance it is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure that they have full and correct documentation to undertake your journey.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
Australian passport holders require visaes to enter some countries. Please ensure you are fully informed of the requirements before you make a reservation as visas can take some time to obtain. Some countries allow for a "visa free" stay for tourism purposes. If you are travelling on business, this does not always apply. Also, if you or a member of your travelling party has a criminal offence entry may be denied. Please discuss this with your travel consultant. Some consulates charge visa fees and we reserve the right to charge a service fee to cover the courier fees and the like should we obtain this documentation on your behalf. Issuance of visaes is not the responsibility of the travel agent and we cannot be held responsible should you be unable to obtain the correct visaes to undertake your journey. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditure incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.
FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAMMES
If you are a member of any frequent flyer program, please ensure that you advise the number to your consultant for inclusion in your booking. As a safeguard it is also advisable to retain your air ticket and all your boarding passes so that you can verify this against your Points Summary after travel is complete. If you are not a member then we are happy to discuss your options with you.
HEALTH
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. Please contact your local doctor who will advise you of these requirements. Please note that some vaccinations may be required some period in advance of travelling.
CARRY ON BAGGAGE AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS
To increase your safety, there are new rules for taking liquids, aerosols and gels on flights into and out of Australia. These rules are needed to protect you from the threat of liquid explosives. Please ensure you read the Security Guide detailing the new rules. For more information visit www.infrastructure.gov.au.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Travel documents will be issued for your travel and include airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. It is your responsibility to check through the documents upon receipt and prior to departure to check that all your documents are correct and in order. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including being non-refundable, non-date changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. All travel documents are non-transferable. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport holder and some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies and the booking may be cancelled. Please ensure that you have received your travel documentation prior to departure.
